Frequently asked questions

Do you repair commercial vehicles?  Yes we do. We will carry out fleet repairs for approved companies and for the small business we can provide a commercial vehicle as a replacement courtesy vehicle. You make like to note that VAT is applicable and payable to us which can then be reclaimed as normal on your next VAT return.

Will I get a courtesy car?  Yes. Subject to availability we have a fleet of vehicles which will suit varying requirements.

Do I have to use the repairer my insurance company recommends?  No. Nor, generally, do you need to get more than one estimate. Insurance companies may advise you to use a particular repairer and may ask you to provide more than one estimate but this is not generally a requirement and you are free to use the repairer you wish to use.

What can you tell me about the procedure with my insurance company?  You will need to contact your insurer to obtain a claim reference number. Once you have passed this on to us we will deal with your insurance company. When the work is finished we will ask you to sign a collection note which will confirm to the insurance company that the work has been done and the vehicle returned to you.

Can you give me an estimate?   Yes we can. We have provided you with the facility of sending details relating to the work you want done here on the website. Alternatively you can phone us for an estimate on 01929 554740.

Do you cover the whole of Dorset?  Yes.

How long will the repair take to complete?  As you will understand all jobs we do are different and it is not possible to say in advance of receiving details as to how much time it will take. When we give you an estimate we also give you a ‘target date’ for completing the work and passing our final quality control check. If there is to be any delay we will, of course, inform you immediately and take any measures within our powers to minimise any inconvenience to you.

Can you collect my vehicle for me?  Yes. We will collect for free from your place of work and within the limits of a three ton maximum weight we will collect a damaged vehicle with our trailer. Please ensure that we are provided with keys, alarm immobiliser codes, wheel lock nut and any other control that we may need for full access to your vehicle.
